We're excited to bring you this deeper, more complex spin on the name Clark. Clarke's extra E adds a little accent that both gives the name a little more symmetry and highlights its special balance between letter sounds. The slightly varied spelling also allows an extra option that may pair better with certain last names.

Tarid

Beyond just new combinations of name beginnings and endings, Tarid is a completely unique name that still holds its place in the universe of names. It has everything you could want from a T name: the balanced palette of varied consonants to balance out the spices of the tangy first letter, as well as a healthy mix of vowels to bring everything together.
Also see: Koa, 6/29/2020, where the K pops the same way as this tangy T.

Evalisse

This ultra-sophisticated alloy of a name pulls from the playful extravagance of Eva, Annalise, and Alyssa, among other names. In truth, unlike most composites, the individual parts of this name are so intricately intertwined that it's difficult to extricate them. Instead, Evalisse makes it easy for us to zoom out and admire its complete and balanced finesse.
Variations: Avalisse, Emalisse, Amelisse

Mev

Like many names ending in V, Mev has a tendency to rev you up and fling you into the excitement of the seasons. The summery M in this name almost resembles glittering ocean waves, while the V ending acts as a gleaming silver motorboat slicing through the water. Mev stands for the thrill of summer activities, and the endless excitement of trying something new and different.

Taluo

This is the first day that Name-a-Day has officially posted two names for (also see Avia, from June 26th, 2020): and they make a perfect pair! Taluo's firm Ta- beginning caresses its lovably distinct -luo ending to merge into a gentle name that sounds like the flutter of a jay's wings, or the trumpeting call of an elephant in the distance, or even the splash of an auk diving under the waves to hunt. Taluo is as unique as each and every animal; its three flowing syllables representing the interconnectedness of all the ecosystems on Earth.

Name-a-Day is proud to present our 365th name of 2020 - 2021. This name marks the representation of every single day of the non-leap year with its own special name. What better name is there to end with than Loghan, a classic name that's as steady and strong as a forest that has grown for centuries? Loghan's everlasting spirit reminds you that while a year is both lengthy and fleeting, what matters is living and celebrating every single moment.

Ferris

As a less common F name, Ferris takes full advantage of the tall power of the F, with the added stability of the double Rs in the middle. Like the unmistakable Ferris wheel, Ferris symbolizes the feeling of being on top of the world at the peak of your journey, and the kind of fun that just keeps on spinning.

Moray

This name acts like a mash of Morris and Murray, but really it's inspired by the well-known eel of the same name. Moray eels are found living in reefs in shallow water, with sharp teeth and very clear markings. Moray as a name sounds as fluid and extraordinary as the sea creatures themselves - it's the perfect name for June, which happens to be National Ocean Month!

Adri

This adorable shortening of Adrian (or any other name with "adri" hidden within, like Yadriel from Aiden Thomas's Cemetery Boys) is the perfect pair with Juni. Both names have four letters and end with a bouncy i, but their first three letters give them distinct, individual personalities. Adri calls forth its own vista, viewed from a cliff thousands of feet above the ground, perhaps, of turquoise lakes popping from a mountain of regally posed evergreens.
Also awesome alternative spellings: Adre, Adrie

Name by Nameberry

It's finally summer, and it's a day to ramp up the summer names with this one that's inspired by the month June. As with many names with i as the last letter, Juni has a special kind of enthusiasm that doesn't feel like it ever ends with the name. Instead, it has a lingering warmth like in the evenings before sunset; keeping a little blaze inside you until the sun rises again.
